Why I Believe Life Isn’t Anything Without Love!

   There is so much to life and there is so much that it offers. In my opinion, love falls into all those categories. Some say it’s happiness and others may say it’s success. Although, I believe that there isn’t life without love. 

   Growing up, your parents are usually in control. Depending on how your childhood goes, it really affects how the rest of your life will occur. Depending on how much love your parents give you will determine how “good” your childhood was. When you get a little bit older, you start to find love in other relationships like your friends or maybe even girlfriends/boyfriends. In middle school, highschool, and even college, normally people start searching for a significant other that they can be with forever that makes them feel loved. Furthermore, most people aspire to find their one true love and search endlessly throughout their life. Why is that? Humans seek affection, comfort, and joy. I believe that all three of those emotions connect to love somehow. 

   Many adults say, “do what you love”, “find someone who loves you”, or “surround yourself with people you love”. Life really all depends on where love is. Do you ever wonder why “every” song talks about love, “every” movie has some sort of love interest, and “every” piece of art is made from love or the lack thereof. Love is everywhere you look. Humans wouldn’t be here without love, creations wouldn’t be made unless someone loved making them, and there would be no you without you loving yourself. 

   Yeah you can love others, things, places, or jobs, but no one person can be happy unless they are happy with themselves. I think one of the greatest loves in life is none other than yourself. Your one true love is the love you gain from your own heart. How can you do what you love, find someone to love, have loving companions around you, love what you provide, and more without loving yourself first. Not everyone may agree that love is single handedly the reason why life is the way it is, but one thing is for sure, your life wouldn’t be your life without the love you give yourself. 

   Life isn’t money or status or even how nice you are, life is what you make of it. And if you aspire to have love in your life, then the first place to look is inside your own heart. For example, the goals I want to achieve in my future and the strong women I want to be when I grow up all depend on how much love I am giving myself. If I am hard on myself and think I’m not good enough, my big goals will never be achieved. When I believe in myself, push through, and stay positive, my happiness will improve and in turn my life will improve as well. Anything is possible if you just put more of your loving heart into every little thing you do. 

   So hug your loved ones, work at your dream job, have the life you aspire to have, but most importantly, find love within yourself first!!! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
